End of Spring Term, school breaks for two weeks due to site closure due to Easter Holidays in the UK.

Easter Sunday falls on 4th of April in 2027, Babylon Academy breaks for two weeks 29th March and 5th April to give families the opportunity to travel without having their chikdren missing school.

On Good Friday, April 2, and Easter Monday, April 6, adults have the two days off from work, while children across the country take a full two weeks off from school. The exact dates of terms vary depending on the school and the area. However, in 2026, the Easter breaks are probably going to fall between April 2 and April 18.

That's more than enough time for Easter egg hunts, homework, and family visits!

Easter is simply defined as the first Sunday following the full moon that falls on or after the spring equinox. Easter is the following Sunday if the full moon occurs on a Sunday.

The spring equinox, or the vernal equinox as it is more formally known, marks the astronomical start of spring, when the sun passes north over the celestial equator, a notional equator that extends out from the Earth’s actual equator.
